In 1812 America entered into a second conflict with England. This second conflict was the War of 1812,
which lasted from June of 1812 until 1814. In this war America proved itself to be a country that could contend with
the world's super powers of the time. Weak America was able to defend itself from the strong superior nation of England.
This war had a great affect on American people as their faith in America grew. By 1814 it was clear that America was
no longer a weak, inferior, collapsing attempt at a country but a resiliant nation with great potential.
